PA 54 – Pay and Benefits, incorporates with the Public Employment Relations Act (PERA) a cap on wages and benefits at the level in effect when the collective bargaining agreement expired, preventing automatic step increases by the public entity.
PA 106 - The Public Employees Health Act requires public entities to solicit bids for their healthcare benefits at least once every three years.
PA 152 - The Publicly Funded Health Insurance Contribution Act requires public entities to share the cost of healthcare with the employees by one of two ways: 80/20 percentage or the "hard cap" limitation which is a set dollar amount re-calculated every year.
PA 202 - Protecting local Government Retirement and Benefits Act implements the recommendations from the Responsible Retirement Reform Task Force. TMR will assist with the Form 5572 submission and evaluation.
